I have tested this under Vista 64 and using driver 186.82. Dirt 2 will not launch, my main titles do. L4D, L4D2, TF2, MW2 are ok. Dirt 2 is quirky - probably requires a 195 series driver. Not sure at this point. According to the thread over @ codemasters there may also be a HW issue in some cases. A patch is in the works. Give the update a try and see if it helps.
Added titles include:
Avatar Demo, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, City Bus Simulator, Dirt 2, Ferrari Virtual Race, GREED: Black Border, Mass Effect 2, Mortal Online, Ninja Blade, Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising Demo, Planet 51, RUSE, Serious Sam HD, and Wings of Prey
You can grab the batch update HERE.
Be sure to read the IMPORTANT - README file for notes.

um, funny enough, I can't seem to find this driver on Nvidia website?
It only shows latest BETA driver 195.81?
oh, I just realised that 196.34 you mentioned is for DESKTOP, not NOTEBOOK!
That would also be the reason for incompatibility issue?
Yep - 196.34 is a desktop released beta driver. The profiles however are fine. In regards to Dirt 2, its a Dirt 2 issue - see the codemaster's forum.
As noted in the readme, if you have an issue with this update, just uninstall your display driver and reinstall the display driver. This will overwrite your SLI profiles.
Hope this helps.

I am using Win 7 64-bit. Should I run the XMLUpdate64 instead?
Nope. Just run "RUN_SLI_PROFILE_UPDATER" which will auto detect the correct file to run. Some folks have encountered errors when not running this via "RUN_SLI_PROFILE_UPDATER".

Thanks Bat!
I performed the SLI profile update and just to let you know DIRT2 ran perfectly fine in SLI after the update in my 195.81 driver
However, i just have a small concern. I can't seem to find the profile for Ninja Blade (accordingto the log, it should be included). Running the game confirms that no SLI is used. Also that's the main reason I wanted to update :(
Can you please have a look at your profiles to see if Ninja Blade is there?
Thanks a lot!
Arsenal - found the problem. Go ahead and download the file again and re-apply the update by running "RUN_SLI_PROFILE_UPDATER".
No need to uninstall the display driver, just re-run the update. You may need to reboot.
Enjoy!

Thanks, Ninja Blade profile found now :)
Everything is working fine!
Keep up the good work!
i got the error that the command "XMLUpdate64.exe" was not found or is wronge(in german).
i started the bat file as an admin... what is my fault?
Hans, this error is thrown in W7. You will need to change the User Account Setting for Windows. Open your Users Control Panel and go to your Account. Look for the User Access Control and change the setting to Never Notify. Reboot and then run the updater. Once complete, you can re-set your UAC setting if you choose.
